If you have access to government-type documents that you are allowed to
contribute? Maybe standard templates for bids and the like? Those might
be good because the same document is used by a lot of people. And it's
definitely a real world document.
I don't know whether the fact that it is converted from .doc
is good or bad. My opinion (for what it's worth) is that it is an
important dimension because in the real world a lot of ODF documents
will start out by being converted from .doc.
Finally, European governments are likely users of ODF. So we could argue
that right now their documents matter disproportionately more.
