MS Office does *not* handle OOXML documents (except by accident) - it claims
to use the earlier Ecma 376 specification (i.e. what OOXML was at the point it
was submitted to ISO).
MS would need to modify Office if they wanted to make it "catch up" with the
changes the ISO process made to the format.
