Jeff, I don't read the No OOXML site. I just don't have time. It's not
that I like them or dislike them. I just don't have time.

Also, I meant my comments to be a compliment for you. Even though I don't
agree with what I understand to be your opinion (generally pro-OOXML as an
ISO standard), I still like you and your work. And I also like to think of
Pia as a friend of mine, and hopefully, also you due to your relationship
with her. This is exactly my point. We in the FOSS world need to see our
community as a big tent. We need to understand that we will occasionally
disagree, and that we should not bitterly criticize one another just because
we have differing opinions.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that you
thought that there was a benefit to having OOXML as an ISO standard because
you thought that it would force Microsoft to document its Office specs. So
I was apparently incorrect in that regard. But I seem to remember you
saying that you thought Jody was correct in trying to get more documentation
from Microsoft through the OOXML ISO process.

I do agree that we in the FOSS community are sometimes to sharp in
criticizing each other. That is my main point always. Even if we disagree,
we need to focus on our common areas, not our disagreements so much.
