Please, Yoon Kit,
take care to use the original build of OpenOffice.org. The Novell build
fails a lot (I can give details). But take care that most of the Linux
distributions use the Novell build (still).
Also an advice (for Roman characters): stablish a set of free fonts to be
used in a way that you don't get problems with the typical Microsoft
proprietary fonts (Arial, Sans Serif, Times New Roman, etc.) The best are
fonts that matches exactly the same sizes and dimensions as Microsoft ones.
Surelly these are are the Liberation Fonts de Red Hat, but make yourself the
tests. Currently they don't come with OpenOffice yet, and OpenOffice for
Windows use as default the Microsoft proprietary ones.
The idea is to prevent that interoperating with other applications and
mainly with other non Windows desktops, you get the problem of "Shit,
everything has moved in the document/presentation/spreadsheet".
Saludos, best luck,
//Alberto.
PS: if you need, I can get you in contact with the people of Extremadura. They
are already collaborating with the Vietnam Government on that matters.
