I just received the answer below on the DFD list. Its gist is "you're
right, but since Wikipedia contains more information than the ODF
website and it's easier to update, I'm going to write into Wikipedia
anyway".
If anybody has answers to the specific questions at the bottom, please
let me know them and I'll forward them to the DFD list. I've also
asked them to send me a copy of anything they plan to add to Wikipedia
so it is possible for us to add it to the fellowship pages if needed.
Ciao,

you are very right about recent changes in Wikipedia. Information
needs to be gathered though on who uses ODF and who doesn´t and what
else is there to know about the subject.
I suggest then that the OpenDocument Fellowship, the www.odfalliance.org and
other groups come together to establish a pages like Wikipedia where the
information all organisations commonly consider to be true in collected.
That I have not found yet, but I might have done the wrong searches.
Until then, I will try to update wikipedia, hoping links are not deleted.
The information and links I found there were pretty helpful for us.
Our team is interested to know about the adoption in certain reagions of the
world. We still find the good information on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenDocument_adoption.
We might be wrong. In that case I ask you to to tell me/us where to find
solid and up-to-date information on the situation in Germany as dense as the
one here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenDocument_adoption#Germany
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opendocument#Deutschland (German)
