So, I've been funding an Adwords campaign to promote OpenDocument
Format, which ~3 weeks in is starting to cost real money:

Clicks 215
Impressions 128,153
CTR 0.17%
Avg. CPM £0.36
Avg. CPC £0.21
Total Cost £45.53

The keywords are:

ISO 26300
ODF
OpenDocument
open
XML

Interesting to note that XML and open have received the most clicks,
and that ISO 26300 has received none, and only 17 returns on a search
at sll. Now either everyone already knows what it is or no one is
searching for it. Google are assuring me that they are checking that
the clicks are genuine and not just from MS offices or those of their
partners ;).

The ad returned is:

OpenDocument
Information on OpenDocument ODF
ISO26300 - real choice for business

Contributions to the cost of the campaign would be welcome. If the
fellowship has any money it would be worth considering running a
second campaign returning the fellowship site, targetted at the
private citizen. And if IBM, Sun, KDE, OpenOffice et al. want to take
on the campaign as well, I can let mine quietly expire...

Cheers

Chris
