The Ecma Secretary General at the time of DIS 29500 was engendered to
be fast-tracked was Jan van den Beld (

).

This person is now retired but presumably is employed freelance by
Microsoft, i.e:

. he has a blog only to post adorations of OOXML and the fast-tracking
process  ( http://janvandenbeld.blogspot.com/ )

. he make visits to NBs where he advocates OOXML ( for example, he
visited ELOT, the greek ISO NB, on 01/23/2008 to lobby for OOXML ).
