I'm forwarding this request for translation help for Treeline. <
http://treeline.bellz.org/>. Treeline is an unusually powerful FOSS
stand-alone outliner, the only outliner to my knowledge that supports ODT,
both for import and export. Reportedly, it can round-trip outlines with
OOo, although I haven't confirmed that personally. Python-based, runs on
*Nix and Windows.
I use it; it's a very high quality product, but the stable release is being
delayed because of translation difficulties. If anyone knows someone willing
and able to help, it would undoubtedly be appreciated.

Subject: [TreeLine-users] Translation help needed
To: treeline-users at lists.berlios.de
Hi,
More volunteers are needed to help update TreeLine's GUI and
documentation translations. I'd like to get at least some of the
languages updated before doing a stable release of the development
version. Other than that, I think the development version is ready.
Some of the current translators are too busy, some have only a little
spare time to help, and others haven't been reachable. Here is the
status by language:
- French: GUI updates done, but translator not reachable for ReadMe
- German: translator has limited time to help
- Portuguese: translator has no time available
- Russian: translator is not reachable
- Spanish: translator has limited time to help
So, volunteers are needed for all the languages listed above. In some
cases, the translation update efforts could be split up to reduce the
time impact.
Anyone interested in translating for a language not listed is also
welcome.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Doug.
