I have announced the initiative at http://digifreedom.net/node/105

Just one comment: as it is today, the website is great for activists
who already know what document freedom is. It may help if there where,
right on the home page, a link titled "for non programmers: what is
document freedom??" or something similar. Otherwise many potential
recipient of the initiative (=non techies) may miss the point
entirely.

Thanks for the project,
                                 Marco
