I hadn't thought ahead to the mailing list part but will see what I can do
in that regard. I tend to prefer web forums myself but am aware that most
other folk prefer mailing lists.

Yes, although the discussion will hopefully be frank about all standards
discussed. I think the more we get the discussion reality-based, the better
it will be for users of each of the competing standards and perhaps
eventually lead to their harmonization or convergence.
