Hi Bart,

The connection is that the availability of free ODF compliant apps may be
causing MS to offer Works for free to try and prevent OEMs from installing
said ODF compliant apps in place of an MS offering.

In other words, it may be a precursor to an attempt to prevent ODF from
attaining market share, and thus I thought it worthy of mention.
