Who actually needs it? Apart from a few cosmetics, what does Vista do
that XP doesn't from a user point of view? If things move more and more
to the web who cares what the operating system is like? The user
experience will be through the web browser. Why will I need some
multi-virtual machine OS on my desktop? So I can spend 1000 bucks on
hardware to run it when my phone can do the same thing? Even if it turns
out to be the best thing since sliced bread for servers, MS makes its
real money from desktop OSs and DTOs are already overkill for what most
people need ie the volume sales.
