ODF is not the ultimate in universal office formats.  However it is the

It would be bad to allow any of that or other MOOX-related problems to
draw attention and or resources away from ODF deployment or development
of tools.  Delay would be bad, too.  So any and all neutralization of
MOOX should also include steps to advance ODF.
