Interesting, but several comments:

1) the fine is rather small potatoes compared to the economic gain, and
even smaller when compared to the economic damage to the market

2) the court has made no effect on company behavior.  MS is still
abusing its monopoly to establish control over audio and video formats
via the media players, even almost 4 years after the 2004 decision

3) the court seems to have taken away independent monitoring trustee, so
now it looks like there is absolutely no oversight

4) this is the court of first instance, MS can and will drag things out
with yet another appeal

One question:

What is the link to the finding of facts for the case?
