an "ODF supporting" application ?

Hi,
As I was revisiting some of the pages that Chris Puttick is refering
to on his
http://iso26300.info
page, I came across the ODF application support page of the
Opendocumentfellowship (pointed to as "list of supporting
applications" by Chris):
http://opendocumentfellowship.org/applications
There is see
Application Native Status Platform
...
Microsoft Office No 1 star Windows
where the "1 star" means:
"work has started"
Actually by now, I consider the combination of Office 2003 and the
Sun plug-in to offer quite good (90% would be my number) support
of ODF in Microsoft Office 2003. So, in practice, by adding the Sun
plug-in, to me Microsoft Office 2003 (+ Sun plug-in) offers very decent
ODF support.
I believe it is beneficial for the case of ODF to mention that also MS
Office (+ plug-in), with it's large curent market share, has good
support for ODF.
We will obviously discuss this topic on the "ODF Camp" in Barcelona:
http://marketing.openoffice.org/ooocon2007/programme/odf_camp.html
and an upfront online discussion seems quite useful.
In another reference from the page of Chris, I also slightly updated
(corrected) the "Belgium" entry on the ODF adoption page on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenDocument_adoption
Sincerely,
Peter
