Hi
As part of the corporate effort to promote ODF, all of our outgoing
emails now have a footer like so:
"Files attached to this email may be in ISO 26300 format (OASIS Open
Document Format). If you have difficulty opening them, please visit
http://openarchaeology.net/iso26300 for more information. "
The page just briefly explains what ODF is, who's using it and how you
can access it. Links to various sources of further help are provided.
To remove the reference to archaeology (so that stakeholders do not
make the assumption that ISO26300 is some sort of archaeological
thing) we have just acquired iso26300.net and .info and will be
directing those to the information. Longer term we will set it up
using Alfresco and thus remove our branding.
So, if you want to start using this URL for providing quick and easy
information, please do. If you have any suggestions for content
additions/subtractions, please let me know.
Chris
