Alex Brown (whose blog it is) really is the convenor of DIS29500 BRM.
On the otherhand it is a very neutral position, so his best line of
positive influence is to ensure all comments are appropriately dealt
with.
Note it is still possible the BRM is cancelled on the grounds that the
comments are not resolvable, as happened with the last MS/Ecma
standards mess. Although given the pressure MS bought to bear during
the contradiction period, it is unlikely.
