Hi guys,

the things are really hot in Brazil because their Ministry of Labor
decided to waste $20mio. in licenses of the last MS-Office (including the
infamous OOXML).

OOo (actually OObr) and free software people have got to put the matter
in standby for a week and is presenting alternatives.

Any help will be helpful. I'm copying to Alexandre Oliva, from the FSF-LA
who could serve as a proxy with the actual Brazilian team working in the
matter.

More direct and so updated info, in Brazilian, can be found in this news
website [her responsible is BCCed, together with FFII PT responsibles]:
http://www.adadigital.net/

For example: "The hungry and the MS licenses"
http://adadigital.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=544&Itemid=2

     Best,
        Alberto.
