[odf-discuss] ODT support in Apple's new Leopard release of OS X

On this page, http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/300.html is a statement 
that TextEdit in Leopard can read and write OpenDocument files. Presumably 
this is ODT (text files) only, but it's a definite step in the right direction.

Because the functionality in TextEdit is available to other Mac programs 
that can use that functionality, I'm told (by Eric, the Mac addict in the 
next room) that means Pages (among others) should also be able to read and 
write ODT.
