The sourceforge project is sponsored by MS and MS partners, I would
suspect the errors are both on purpose and originated from their
anti-ODF strategy, especially since ...

... confusing application and format is a common tactic in the anti-ODF
campaign.  I think it's been with us since the beginning and won't go
away soon.

One thing I think we can deal with here and now, however, is all the
MOOX articles that neglect to even mention ODF.  ODF and, more
specifically, MS refusal to join industry backed format, is at the heart
of the MOOX push and scandal in national standardization bodies.
