No, it is not. It is "with yourself or against yourself"!
(being "yourself"="Gnome project").
A double standard has no any benefit for Gnome, and OOXML has no any political
value for Gnome as a project. Isn't it?
Only Novell and Microsoft are insterested in to promote that OOXML format and
attack ODF... to diferenciate from the rest of competition because only them
(and Apple) will be able to handle it fine (well, Novell and Apple not fully,
of course).
But now Gnome also attacks ODF without getting any profit for Gnome as I see
(point 5 contradicts point 2 of the statement).
I hope you share our concerns, but unfortuntelly it seems that there is no way
to move any of us from our positions (us in black/white, you in the grey
political speech... whose profit I'm not able to perceive for Gnome, btw...)
So to continue this flame has no more sense as I see.
As I said, point 5th is not as a big issue for me anyway... At ISO we can
survive with the rest of points no matter of the use that Microsoft will make
of 5th...
