It is also interesting to note that Virgin Radio have been broadcasting
mainly music on four channels in the completely open Ogg Vorbis format for a
long time now - presumably with the blessing of the content providers.

The BBC were developing Ogg Vorbis streaming
http://support.bbc.co.uk/ogg/
quite successfully at one time but then the project appeared to have the rug
pulled out from under it overnight.
