[odf-discuss] Notes / Corrections

Hello,

A couple of people pointed out errors or ambiguities in my emails:

1. I was wrong; IBM is not in TC45. They didn't have to join to be able to vote against OOXML.

2. About Novell forking OOo, I said that what exists today couldn't be called a fork, someone wrote GPL code, Novell took it and Sun didn't. I hope nobody got the impression that I disagree with Sun. Copyright assignment for core code is by no means unreasonable. I merely tried to say that what Novell currently has is not a fork (whether they will have a fork one day, I hold no opinion on).

Daniel.
