[odf-discuss] Documenting support for ODF 1.1?

Hello,

with respect to the "Applications" page at
http://opendocumentfellowship.org/applications:

all the information refers to support for ODF 1.0 only, right? If so,
maybe it should be said explicitly in the page.

What would that page look like, if taking into account only ODF 1.1?
In other words, what are the applications which already are 100% ODF
1.1 compliant? My understanding is "none or almost none", since 1.1
was ratified by OASIS only in February, but even in that case it may
be better to (start to) say it explicitly.

The reason of the question and the suggestions is that ODF 1.1 is the
only version in which disabled users (and the lawmakers, lobbyists and
programmers working for them) are interested, in the sense that it is
the only one which is good enough from the accessibility point of
view, see for example
http://blogs.sun.com/korn/entry/opendocument_v1_1_is_now. From _that_
perspective, it's almost like ODF 1.0 didn't exist, at least when
discussing laws on OO.o/ODF adoption in public administrations. In
some countries, at least.

Of course, this is not a reason to stop asking for government ODF
adoption as soon as possible: first of all, ODF is about the rights
and money of ALL citizens, including disabled ones; secondly, by the
time some administrations will actually migrate to ODF compliant
software thanks to the lobbying done today, probably they'll find
plenty of support for ODF 1.2, not 1.1...

In any case, it will become more and more important for all of us to
have this point clear and be prepared to distinguish and specify
whenever we say "ODF is ALREADY usable today with many different
applications, see the list on the Fellowship website".

TIA,
	Marco
