Just heard Ian's interview, it's always inspiring to listen to him. I  
agree about the educational challenges. I was just watching videos  
about the XO computer (OLPC) vs. the Intel on countries like Brasil  
and Chile and the failure of the Enciclomedia project in Mexico.

Most countries are very afraid of adopting technology and will resist  
to the last consequences from preventing changing the delicate  
structure of education.

Enciclomedia proved to be final proof of sometimes idealistic  
implementation of high tech on rural schools with no funding. They  
have an average investment on $2500 dls per school, yet the whole  
school don't have electricity which work a reality check for many  
people.
