I don't want to click through to everything that is posted, just 
to find out if it's something that I might want to read. That 
takes time, esp. when the Internet is running slow here or the 
site is popular and running slow itself.

A bit more info helps me decide whether to click through. Often 
the full URL gives that "bit more info", though sometimes even 
that doesn't tell me much. (The example URL here does tell me 
quite a bit.)
