[odf-discuss] ODF adoption -- Japan

I wonder how much is published the non-standard way of doing business.
Only people that have blogged and heard about those blogs know that ECMA
has never denied any petition to become a standard from any of their
members all through the organizational history.
ECMA is in the pocket of the companies and doesn't go through any
significant validation process.
I acknowledge this is a different topic from the one from Japan, but is
also important that we know this and most people don't knw and view the
ECMA and ISO organizations as equals.
