Thanks tons, Jean!!  It is really great IMHO that lots of people from
outside the US are signing up.  That is the key -- the world is much bigger
than US patent laws.  It really seems as if we are approaching a digital
tipping point.  Now we have maneuvered ourselves into a position where
Microsoft is relying on a minority law in a country of only 350 million
people (the US) and they are trying to leverage that law, but they can only
take it so far.

The thing that really scares me is not the patent lawsuit or even patents at
all.  It's the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that scares me.  That is
one of the most briliant moves to stop the spread of FOSS in the developing
world, where it really counts.  I am so scared of BMGF.
