[odf-discuss] Word to ODF - feature preservation question

Does anyone know of MS Word or OOo users who use this feature? Versions 
info is something we remove as part of the metadata scrubbing process 
but we haven't come across anyone who has actually required it. It would 
appear that the use of document /content management systems has removed 
the need to use this. Maybe it is used by individuals/small orgs?
