Hi,    [bcc: ODF Alliance]

    interesting argument for the _pretented_ backward compatibility of the 
OOXML format (this is the main argument that Microsoft is using at ISO).

    The magazines Nature and Science don't accept the new Microsoft Office 
2007 format, OOXML:

    Wasn't it backwards compatible by "nature"?

    Sorry, Microsoft: Backwards compatible are the applications, not the 
formats!
