By the way, in terms of public brand recognition of Free Open Source
Software currently, you might be interested to watch this video of YouTube
celebrity Caitlin Hill talking about what Free Open Source Software is.  She
basically says that she did not hear of Free Open Source Software before she
met me when this scene was shot in March, 2007, even though she is one of
the top 20 most all-time subscribed video bloggers on YouTube.

By the way, the cool thing about this segment of DTP video up on YouTube is
that I did not put it there, and I didn't know that it was there until I
randomly did a search for digitaltippingpoint while writing this thread, and
yet we have 3000 views of it.

But this is an eye-opener, because it shows you how clueless even a witty,
intelligent, popular YouTube editor is about the software that runs
YouTube.  We have a lot of work ahead of us still in terms of public brand
acceptance of FOSS..
