Hi Andreas,

Perhaps my description was not clear enough. What I tried to convey in
the blog post was that
1) OOo takes in minimum 2 params CEILING ( 2; 1 )
2) Gnumeric and KSpread allows for single params CEILING ( 2 )
3) OOo can take in 3 params for legacy support CEILING (2;1;1)

The good thing about a consensus based and inclusive standards
development process is the ability for the TC to cherry pick the best
of all worlds.

OpenFormula can call CEILING with one, two or three parameters,
depending on the requirements with consistent and mathematically
accurate results.

Its an example of how much more "superior" OpenFormula will ultimately
become over the MSOOXML's "copy 'n paste" effort in "Formula
Definition"
