It's admirable that you're so stubborn. However, I would like to know 
why you think you have more knowledge of how best to approach people in 
the UK than people like myself, who are based in the UK and have 
experience lobbying here?

Given you're hearing this from a number of people, have you considered 
the possibility - however remote it might seem to you - that it's 
actually you who's in the wrong here?

Seriously, think about it.
