Maybe in Europe you should target:
* fosdem (Brussels, 24+25 Feb 2007, free entrance, 2000 visitors)
* Euroscon (was in Brussels in 2006, don't know where it is in 2007;
   but is quite expensive to attend)

I could help on the fosdem part. I am under the impression there is no
ODF or OO.o DevRoom yet:

Previously, I organized the "Embedded Software" room at fosdem and that
was quite a success. In my new role, doing something about Open
Standards for office docs (ODF, OO.o etc) at fosdem could be relevant.
