I noticed that besides the 10 o'clock train to Tamworth, there is a
10:40 and an 11:40 train to Birmingham. In theory I could take a cab
from Birmingham to Tamworth (at a great cost).

The trains to Birmingham are a different route than the train to
Tamworth, so I guess I would not be able to reuse my ticket. :(

I just wrote to the Fellowship's Dicretionary Funds Committee (Marbux
and Jean) asking for funds to cover travel. That will be important
because if I have to buy a second train ticket and then a cab I will go
bankrupt. But I have to be prepared for the chance that I might have to
do that.

Cheers,
Daniel.
