Indeed, all converters based on OpenOffice.org will offer the same
results. The same results you can get by manually opening a document in
OOo and exporting it to the desired format. No magic there.
If that's the "first tool" of this kind you see, then you've obviously
never tried JODConverter, which is open source and has been around since
2004 (when OpenDocument didn't even exist).
