I just want to make sure that this question doesn't get lost in the
recent flurry of emails. The OXML option I explained (which I don't
*advocate*) adds new tags to ODF in the same way that the Foundation
plugin does (using section 1.5). I know of no definition that allows the
OXML option to be called "extension" without making the Foundation
plugin an extension too.
