I guess I missed that. Can you point me to the posts.

You've misunderstood what I was saying. I am not talking about
individual applications adding their own extensions and declaring
their own subsets. I raised two cases:
1. A subset declared by the ODF 1.2 specification -- not by indvidual
application's development teams for purposes of interop with MS
Office. This is being discussed now on the Metadata Subcommittee.
2. A conceptual subset I am pushing for discussion that would be
declared by some version of the ODF specification for ODF outliner <>
ODF outliner interop. Again, this would be declared by the
specification and not by developers of a single outliner. I'm talking
about a communications protocol for all ODF outliners to achieve
interop.
As a separate matter but tangentially related to the outliner interop
subset, I noted the need to add some tags to ODF so that true
outliners can use ODF. As ODF stands now, ODF does not support true
outliners. At present, an outliner that supports ODT could write to
ODT and fake the appearance of an outline for use in, e.g., a full
blown processor, but could not import an outline from ODT. This has
nothing to do with outliner subset I would like to see discussed other
than the fact that the entire topic of an outliner subset is moot
unless a few tags are added to ODF for use by any and all true
outliners.
Since your entire post was affected by your misunderstanding of what
I said, I won't respond further.
Best regards,
