Oh, totally different indeed.

Hhm. I always find this projection so disconcerting. It makes Canada and 
Greenland look enormous. It makes Canada look twice the size of the US 
and Greenland the size of South America.

There are several good projections around. Too bad they aren't as 
popular. My favourite is the Dymaxion projection, but nobody knows about it.
