[odf-discuss] [Fwd: [press] [webform] odf in schools]

I'm forwarding this to the list because someone here might have
some Australia-specific information that I'm not aware of, which
would be particularly good given the origin of the question.

I found two references on our "Precedents" page that I'll pass on
to Janet (if someone on the Press list has not already done so).
I also have a vague memory of StarOffice being adopted by the
Northern Territory Schools Commission, but I can't find a
reference and may be totally misremembering. Perhaps someone else
can recall, or knows of other schools.

Ian Lynch has responded already regarding UK schools.

Was sent a question and want to give them a clear response:
=====================
Dear colleagues
A question - posed to me by Peter Murray - now with Apple in WA
Do you know of any school today that uses other than MS Word?
I couldn't name any?
Can you?
Is it fair to conclude that Word is the universal word processing
package of the developed world?
Kind regards

=======================

Perhaps thee is a website or list somewhere?
Thanks folks
Janet
