That's part of the tactic, grind it down, twist whats left and then say
that this is small and poorly argued and must be removed.  They tried to
do it to the OpenDocument articles last year.

Be sure that the 'see also' points to relevant standards.  MS boosters
remove links to open formats, protocols and specifications.

More get involved for a few minutes a day.  Doesn't need to be
extensive, just pull up the page history and ask, "what can be done in
this page/section in a  few minutes"

I'm on record already regarding my opinion of wikipedia and that it is
largely a waste of time.
But it is a necessarily evil and an unfortunate part of any marketing or
outreach effort.
