Alfredo ... my suggestion is that the differentiation between web 
technology and office document technology is rapidly approaching zero.

The scenario I envisage is not that you are mixing HTML and ODF, but for 
certain uses HTML is better, while for others ODF is better.

Some examples ....

A usage requiring lots of interactivity will probably be best developed 
using HTML technology. On the other hand, a usage requiring low levels 
of interactivity will oftentimes be best "developed" in ODF. Hence, OO.o 
or KOffice or IBM Workplace or whatever ODF editor will be the ideal 
tools for ODF content generation, while in many situations, a web 
browser will be the ideal ODF viewer.

Hence my initial comment on the potential advantages of native rendering 
of ODF by web browsers.
