[odf-discuss] Another idea: TODO list

Hi all,

I think we should have a TODO list. But I think we should combine it
with the previous "people behind ODF" idea. The same page that praises
all the work that is being done would be a good place to put work that
is important to do and nobody is doing yet.

Some tasks:
* Test SoftMaker and Zoho Office and update the applications list. Maybe
someone can become a "maintainer"?

* Make a paginated HTML version of the OpenDocument spec. One HTML page
per section. We would put this on the Fellowship website. This way
developers would have an easily browsable view of the ODF spec instead
of the big downloads at the OASIS TC page. Ask me for details.

What format should this page take? One idea is to have two columns: Task
and Person, and items without task would have in red letters "your name
here". But this format feels cold and impersonal. It needs improvement.

Maybe we'll call it "people behind ODF", and essentially give it the
same format I suggested before, but at the top put a link to "tasks that
need doing" or "how do I get my name on this page?". That seems less
impersonal, but I fear that no one will see the TODO list.

Ideas welcome.

Cheers,
Daniel.
