[odf-discuss] Does OO.o violate OpenDocument? If yes, where?

Another note:

So... this guy is saying that if rendering is not pixel-perfect then
"distributing ODF files made with OO.o isn't at all a feasible solution
for distributing documents in an advanced open standard like ODF".

This is sheer lunacy.

My opinion is that he just doesn't know the first thing about file
formats and now finds himself backed into defending an indefensible and
ludicrous position.

Pixel perfect formats include things like PNG and PDF.

Formats like ODF, HTML, OXML, .doc, .rtf, and anything you reasonably
find useful for making editable documents is not pixel-perfect.
