This is the same thing I thought when I read his first post in that
other mailing list. I haven't stepped in yet because I wanted to check
here first. However, the latest messages and clarifications from this
person in that thread seem to imply that he cares and wants to discuss
only "pixel-perfect rendering support", _not_ "ISO26300 support when
writing or reading ODF files" in the sense we have discussed here.

If so (cfr the examples from Daniel and Thomas) he's probably right,
even if he initially expressed the concept in quite a confusing way,
and I really don't know if it's worth starting a weekend flame-war on
this. Maybe tonight if I can't sleep :-)
