Exactly. These are the sort of things I have seen. It's not that OOo
produces invalid documents (it doesn't) but that there might be a
mismatch between what's on screen and what's on the XML. Extra
indentation, a page break in the wrong place, etc.

Good analogy.

No comments, I just wanted to get everyone to read this bit again :)

And this :)
I'll also mention that the TestSuite project is actively looking for
volunteers to help out. Please talk to Thomas if you are interested. I
really wish I could contribute, but I have my hands full with the ODF
development projects.
In addition, the TestSuite project is looking for more visiblity. Please
tell your friends, blog about it, announce it on your favourite mailing
lists, do a chat at your local LUG, spam your Mahnjogg, whatever.

+1
The Fellowship's ODF Viewer follows an open process too, btw, but we are
not yet ready to receive bug reports. We are too alpha right now. But
you are welcome to post comments, ideas and suggestions on this list, or
better yet, come to the IRC channel and chat about the viewer. The
channel is #odf on Freenode. 99% of the discussion about the viewer and
related work takes place there.
Cheers,
Daniel.
