[odf-discuss] Update on ODF Viewer

Hello everyone,

I'm releasing a minor update of the ODF viewer. Version 0.3.

Available for: Mac OS X (yay!!), Linux and Windows.

Normally I don't announce minor updates, but these do make the viewer
much more useful and the next update may not be for a while (we're
working on a few "difficult" bits at the moment).

So... what's new:

* Print function. Kit will love this one :)
* Page up / Page down.
* Search function.

The search function is simple but still quite useful: It only takes you
to the paragraph that contains the string. It goes from paragraph to
paragraph. This isn't a bug. I designed it this way because it's easier.
I hope to improve it in the future.

You'll notice several UI changes. Yes, I spent some time working on the
UI. This is just a skeleton, to help the developers be clear on what
features the final product should have. If you think that there's
something important missing on the UI now is a good time to tell me. I
can't promise we'll add everything you want for two reasons:

* It might be too hard or just not doable.
* We do want to keep the UI simple.

Feel free to take a look at your favourite PDF reader for ideas. But we
are aiming for something clean like Evince, and not cluttered like Adobe
Acrobat Reader.

Finally, I'll remind everyone that now we have anonymous SVN working and
you are more than welcome to download the latest sources from the
repository:
