Hello all,
I just made my first ever DMG file! So, now all you Mac lovers can
download the Fellowship's ODF ivewer and give it a go. I put it on the
Fellowship's site, along with the other versions:
http://opendocumentfellowship.org/development/projects/odfviewer
I'll warn you that it's not even beta. This is what you can expect:
* It's slow. Give it small-to-medium files. When I gave it a 700-page
document it took like 2 minutes to open it.
* It should give good results on text documents. Should support images,
tables, and most things you'd expect of a viewer.
* It doesn't support spreadsheets or presentations yet.
* The UI is almost almost unexistent (there are two buttons and only one
of them works: 'Open'). We just haven't done the UI work yet.
Cheers,
Daniel.
