Those features being import filters. Indeed, Ximian has not worked on 
import filters for OOo but Novell did, I used earlier the example of the 
Lotus 1-2-3 filters for OOo Calc.

BTW, it does not look like the Nokia people developing ODF filters for 
Abiword and Gnumeric will need 10 years of development and they do not 
have background in office suites.
