I don't think complex == full support; after all, no application fully
supports OpenDocument yet either, and I don't think we'll see one for a
little while yet.
Novell already have an OOo which opens most proprietary spreadsheet
data, including formulas and macros, and it seems to be vastly good
enough for most people. That's the level they need to achieve, not
perfection.
